Our Powerbug GTX 1 Lithium trolley review took place on the course at Moor Allerton.

We were being visited by Ladies European Tour winner Holly Clyburn for a day of instruction videos so asked her to take the trolley out for a round and let us know what she thought.

Just to clarify, there is mention of the ‘Infinity’ trolley in the video above.

In America the GTX 1 Lithium is known as the Infinity, in Europe it is just called the GTX 1 Lithium.

We first saw this trolley at the PGA Show in Orlando where it was branded up as the Infinity.

Anyway, they are exactly the same trolley so if you like the look of this one, go to the Powerbug website and find the GTX 1 Lithium.

Powerbug GTX 1 Lithium trolley review – First impressions

The trolley is very easy to assemble and looks very stylish with the white frame.

One of the standout features is just how small the Lithium battery is – it must be one of the smallest on the market.

We tested it with a Powerbug cart bag and also Holly’s tour bag and both fitted on easily and felt sturdy.

Another very impressive feature here is the handle and speed dial.

It’s a nice big handle which makes the trolley very easy to control with just the one hand.

Many trolley’s are set up with two handles either side of the control panel but the reality is that most golfers will just push them using one.

You can also adjust the height which is an added bonus.

There’s a distance control feature on the speed dial which allows you to tell the trolley you want it to go 10, 20 or 30 yards and then stop.

This is ideal for sending it towards the next tee or to the right side of the green and should save a bit of time over the course of 18 holes.

The battery we tested lasts for 27-holes which is perfect for those who might like to play another nine after a pit-stop in the club house.

Powerbug GTX 1 Lithium trolley review – NCG Verdict

You really do get a lot of bang for your buck with this trolley.

At £439 it’s considerably cheaper than many other brands’ offerings for 27-hole lithium and there’s no compromise on features, style and usability.

Both the trolley and the mini lithium battery are covered by a thee-year warranty.

The battery warranty can be upgraded to a full five-year warranty for an extra £50.

We couldn’t find any fault at all with this trolley and think it could surprise a few people who normally plump for the bigger brand names.

There are some really smart matching cart-bags too.
