Amy Boulden tips: Become a better driver of the golf ball
Amy Boulden is a professional golfer who competes on the Ladies European Tour.
We invited Amy down to The Shack to give us a few of her tips that will help amateur golfers improve their game. Here she talks you through the basic driver fundamentals and what you need to do to improve your game with the big stick.
The 3 steps to becoming a more accomplished driver of the golf ball
Step 1- Make sure you have the correct ball position. For the driver you want the ball just inside the left heel.
Step 2- With your weight you want that pretty central with a slight tilt backwards wth your upper body.
Step 3- In order to achieve more distance you want to do the following;
- Tee the ball up higher
- Hit up on the golf ball
- Don’t be too steep on the ball
- Keep your height, don’t drop your head
