Are short putts giving you the jitters? Well Deana Rushworth from the Belfry is on hand to share a quick tip on how to get more confidence with those little knee jerkers.

When you have a short putt, you can often start to feel the nerves and the hole can shrink to the size of a peanut.

What I want you to do is put two tee pegs in at the jaw of the hole and try and putt the ball in between the two tee pegs.

If you do that enough times, once you remove the tee pegs the hole will seem a lot bigger.

You can also do this with just one tee peg and place it in the centre. Just keep practicing putting to the tee peg and try and hit it every time.
