Rules of Golf: Introducing Rules Squad from NCG

If you’re in a pickle on the course, if there’s someone you think isn’t playing to the letter of the law, why not call on golf’s newest crime-fighting duo to deliver some swift justice?

Meet Rules Squad. They’re meaner than a Tyrrell Hatton tantrum and are the stars of our light-hearted, and probably not very accurate, look at some of the changes that came into place at the start of 2019.

So watch out everybody, this golf buggy doesn’t have any brakes…

Steve Carroll

A journalist for 23 years, Steve has been immersed in club golf for almost as long. A former captain and committee member, he has passed the Level 3 Rules of Golf exam with distinction having attended the national Tournament Administrators and Referee's Seminar. He has officiated at a host of high-profile tournaments, including Open Regional Qualifying and the PGA Fourball Championship. A member of NCG's Top 100s panel, Steve has a particular love of links golf and is frantically trying to restore his single-figure handicap.
