Biggest achievement

Kung has never won a Major championship but that hasn’t stopped the 35-year-old from enjoying a stellar career.

Four victories on the LPGA Tour – three of which arrived in 2003 – are probably the standout achievements on her CV.

She also represented Chinese Taipei at the Rio Olympics, finishing tied 31st.

Her total career earnings of $7,131,955 is not to be sniffed at either.

Biggest disappointment

Although this will rank as a remarkable achievement in many eyes, the fact that Kung came so close to winning the US Women’s Open in 2009 but to ultimately fall short would have been a bitter pill to swallow.

She was tied for first until Eun-Hee Ji birdied the final hole to take home the title at Saucon Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania.

Team player?

Oh yes.

Kung represented Asia in all four tournaments of the now defunct Lexus Cup.

She helped her continent to back-to-back Lexus Cup victories against the International Team in 2006 and 2007. She also represented Taiwan/Chinese Taipei in the 2014 and 2016 International Crown.
