The Wilmslow Golf Club
A real thinking man’s course, home to plenty of well-placed bunkers and shaped fairways that can be hard to find. The short holes here are outstanding, with the 9th, in front of the clubhouse, perhaps the pick. The four par 5s do resent the opportunity of a birdie or two and the 18th offers a fitting end, with bunkers on the right and a small stream on the left awaiting anything slightly wayward. Be sure to bring your best long game and a tidy putting stroke.
Located only a couple of miles from the town centre and with easy access from the M6 at Junction 18 or the M56 at Junction 6, The Wilmslow Golf Club nestles in mature wooded Cheshire farmland with a meandering stream crossed by four of its eighteen holes, and is a perfect haven from the stress of business and the cares of daily life. Rated one of the finest inland courses in the North West of England,always in first-class condition and playable in all but the most extreme of weathers.
