Equipment: Ping G Le ladies range launched
Ping have added performance-enhancing innovations and stylish designs to suit lady golfers who want to play their best but also look the part with the Ping G LE range.
This range utilises technology to launch the ball higher and further in an eye-catching navy and mint colour scheme.
The G Le driver features Ping’s thinnest ever face which is designed to match lady swing speeds and should produce faster ball speeds.
As with the men’s G range, there’s also Turbulator technology and a Dragonfly crown design which makes the club move faster through the air and helps keep the centre of gravity in the right place for forgiveness and consistency.
The easy to launch G Le women’s fairway woods are engineered with thin face and crown design to maximise ball speed. They are designed to be easy to hit off the tee as well as off the ground.
The G Le irons are also optimised for women’s swing speeds. As we have seen with the men’s G irons there’s something called COR-Eye Technology which helps keep the face thin for faster ball speed.
There’s also enhanced perimeter weighting for more stability and better performance on mis-hits.
Ping say lighter swingweights make it easier to square the club face to get the ball moving towards the intended target rather than starting left or right.
The G Le hybrids should fly higher than previous lady models with improved ball speeds from the thin face – that should result in more distance.
Getting the ball in the hole should also be easier with the Ping G Le putters.
Three new models feature new technology in the face to get the ball rolling better – even on off-centre strikes.
The Caru (Slight arc blade) and Arna (Slight arc mid-mallet) are engineered with flow-style necks for improved alignment.
The Oslo (Slight or straight arc mallet) is fully machined from aerospace grade aluminium and has geometric alignment features to help frame the ball at address.
