When South African Ashleigh Buhai claimed the title at the Investec South African Women’s Open, she went down in history as the only amateur to win the tournament twice.

England’s Florentyna Parker gained the highest position out of the British players, finishing in 5th position with a score of 2-under par.

British player Felicity Johnson also had a great week. She won the Seasons Aged Care Brisbane Invitational in an exciting four-way play-off victory.

As Carly Booth and many other figures from the world of golf celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th, a new format for the European Golf Team Championships was announced.

This year’s event at Gleneagles will include a 50/50 split of players from both genders and also equal prize money.

Finally, the R&A released a look at the new rules which will be enforced from 1st January 2019.
