Golf tips: How to flush your fairways with Pamela Pretswell
When I take a fairway wood from the rough I try and make all my adjustments in the set-up rather than in the shot where a lot of amateurs come up on the shot.
We need to get the ball in the air so make sure that: a) the ball is forward, opposite your left heel; b) you open your shoulders a little bit, so your right shoulder will be a bit lower than the left; and c) you have slightly more weight on your right foot at address.
Complete the swing and don’t stop after you’ve hit the ball.
