How have PowaKaddy improved on the popular electric trolley from last year? Equipment editor Hannah Holden takes it for a spin

The star of the show with this trolley is the integrated GPS. I found it was remarkably accurate and especially useful on blind shots where it wasn’t possible to use a laser and at courses I hadn’t played before.

As it is set into the trolley handle I found it sped up play, as I didn’t have to get another device out to work out my yardages.

The two stage folding mechanism was really easy to use and made taking down and putting up the trolley a quick process. The only disadvantage of the folding mechanism is you can’t adjust handle height without a screwdriver. When folded down it easily fits in my car boot with a set of clubs.

The Plug ‘n’ Play TM technology in the battery made it really quick and simple to connect to the trolley. You just need to remember to use the on and off switch on the battery before and after you’ve completed your round.

The C2i GPS was exceptionally quiet and very quick due to an extremely powerful motor. I often find myself constantly readjusting my carry bag on a trolley but with the C2i GPS it fit comfortably and stayed securely in place.

This really is a great trolley which I found easy to use. The new GPS function is an excellent addition, which I found especially useful as I play at a lot of new courses.

It also delivers on its promise of being a compact trolley and folds down smaller than any other trolley I’ve owned. This is really important for me as I travel a lot but also key if you don’t have much room in your car to fit a large trolley. Its compact nature doesn’t mean you compromise on usability. It is extremely sturdy and easy to control on all terrain.

If you’re looking for a top of the market trolley and feel you will benefit from a GPS, this is a great piece of kit.
