Jin Young Ko makes history, while Georgia Hall has a strong LPGA debut
Talking points of the week
Jin Young Ko made history at the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open when she became the second person to win during their first LPGA start.
The 22-year-old South Korean golfer won on the LPGA a year ago, but this was her first as a member.

Georgia Hall also had a successful time at the competition at Kooyonga, Adelaide. After earning her LPGA card at Q-school in 2017, she tied in 13th place this week.
Her debut as an official LPGA Tour member, her best round came on Sunday when she scored 5-under-par.
Hall said: “I played better every day. I played really good golf today (Sunday), well pretty faultless. My putts weren’t quite going in, but I’m really pleased with the way I played this week.”
Finally, Charley Hull‘s appearance in the latest Sky Sports advert got everyone fired up for a great year of women’s golf.
