Jack McDonald is a professional golfer on the European Tour. He was an integral part of the wining 2015 Great Britain & Ireland Walker Cup team.

We went up to Archerfield to get some short game tips from Jack. Here, he talks to us about the flop shot.
The main thing is opening the face quite a bit. You want to focus on keeping the rhythm of the shot nice and easy.
You don’t need to lash at tor hit it to hard, make sure you release the club through and keep the loft on the club.
I’d also have the ball slightly in front of centre, get the energy of the club going left and pop the ball up.
