Place of birth: Gladbeck
Nationality: German
Height: 5’8″

Biggest achievement
The 27-year-old German star has had many positives in her career so far.
Arguably her biggest victory so far was capturing the South Africa Women’s Open in 2012, winning the Ladies European Tour event by one stroke ahead of Lee-Anne Pace and Danielle Montgomery.
Her second title win, and arguably just as a big an achievement as the South Africa Women’s Open, saw her triumph at the Manulife LPGA Classic on the LPGA Tour in September 2016.
Masson would also have taken great pride in representing Germany at the Rio Olympics, where she finished tied 21st.
Biggest disappointment
Masson led the 2011 British Women’s Open after the second and third rounds following scores of 68, 65 and 68, but a disastrous round of 78 on the final day saw her drop down to a tied-5th finish.
A huge missed opportunity to claim a Major crown early on in her professional career.
Team player?
The current world No 54 was a two-time member of the European Junior Solheim Cup team (2005 and 2007).
She has also represented Europe twice in the senior Solheim Cup in 2013 and 2015, helping her team to victory in 2013 with a contribution of two-and-a-half points.
An example of her magic on the course
