Lexi Thompson is one of the best young golfers on the planet period. After an illustrious Amateur career – that included qualifying for the U.S. Women’s Open aged just 12 – Thompson turned professional in 2010 at just 15 years old.

Lexi’s amateur record includes winning the 2008 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship and appearances as part of Team USA at the 2008-2010 Junior Solheim Cup.

The Florida native fought off the challenge of Michelle Wie to take the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship at the Mission Hills Country club, and earned her a dip in Poppie’s Pond – and become one of the youngest Major champions in LPGA history.

Thompson also holds the record for the youngest ever winner of an LPGA event, capturing the Navistar LPGA Classic at just 16. Thompson is also the second youngest to ever win an LET event after her win at the 2011 Dubai Ladies Masters.

Coming from a golfing family – both of Thompson’s brother play professionally on the PGA Tour – with Lexi being the most successful family member to date.
