Hot prospect Jessica Korda is one of the up-and-coming players on the LPGA Tour.

The 22-year-old, who started playing golf at the age of eight, is currently ranked 25th in the world.

As an amateur, she was a member of the 2010 USA Curtis Cup and 2009 USA Junior Solheim teams. In 2010 she won the South Atlantic Amateur Championship. She made the cut at the 2008 and 2009 US Women’s Open Championship and finished runner-up at the 2010 US Women’s Amateur Championship.

She turned professional in December 2010 as a 17-year-old after finishing as the runner-up in the LPGA Tour Qualifying School tournament final, making her eligible for full membership on the Tour in 2011.

It was a breakthrough year for her in 2012. She made the cut 16 times in 20 events, earning $339,320, and securing two top-10 finishes. She was victorious at the season-opening ISPA Handa Women’s Australian Open.

She continued to progress in 2012, making 21 cuts in the 21 events she played which included six top-10 finishes.

That year she represented the USA at the Solheim Cup in Colorado, which resulted in a victory for Europe.

She added the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic and Airbus LPGA Classic titles to her trophy cabinet in 2014.

Last year she captured her fourth career title at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
