One of the most recognisable faces in world sport, Natalie Gulbis began her golfing journey aged four, and like many cites her father as her biggest influence to take up the sport.
By seven, Gulbis had already won her first tournament, and by 10 she was reportedly breaking par.
After cutting her teeth on the LPGA Tour aged just 14 (as an amateur) – Gulbis was still competing with a handicap of 2 on the boys’ golf team at her school – the California native took just four years before making the leap to full-time professional golf.
Despite good early showings, it was not until her sixth season on Tour that Gulbis earned her first and only victory to date as a professional at the 2007 Evian Masters in France – defeating Jeong Jang in a playoff.
Widely considered a sex symbol in the LPGA, Gulbis has released various calendars during her time on the Tour and appeared in many men’s magazines such as FHM.
More than just a pretty face, Gulbis has appeared as part of three U.S.A. Solheim Cup teams (2005, 2007 and 2009) and has Top 10 finishes in all but one Major – The Evian Championship.
You can find Natalie regularly on The Golf Channel.
