Talking points of the week

Canada’s Brooke Henderson finished 7th at this week’s Diamond Resorts Invitational in Orlando, Florida.

With rounds of 66-67-68, she finished as the low LPGA player with 80 points. This top-10 position put her ahead of more than half the PGA Tour Champions players in the field.

Speaking after the event, Henderson told LPGA.com: “I had so much fun this week playing with celebrities, Champions Tour guys, even the CEO of Diamond Resorts, which was really fun.”

Meanwhile, the Ladies European Tour‘s (LET) rookie class of 2018 have been preparing for the upcoming season with an orientation week at La Sella Golf Resort & Spa in Alicante, Spain.

This included sessions on social media and finance, and the concluding Pro-Am was won by 19-year-old Norwegian star Celine Borge and her team of amateur golfers.
